Artist Statement
As an artist, my work is driven by the purpose of facilitating emotional healing, inspiring individuals to reconnect with their inner child and embrace their true selves. I achieve this by employing an intuitive approach to painting and utilizing fluid mediums to weave a tapestry of beauty from the fragmented pieces of our lives. Through my art, I aim to encourage authenticity and assist individuals in finding healing within their own life stories.
I am particularly drawn to the vibrant hues of bright colors and metallics, as they evoke a childlike joy and an overwhelming sense of happiness. Incorporating these colors into my art plays a crucial role in conveying the essence of my artistic vision. I find that fluid mediums, especially alcohol inks, perfectly align with my style of painting, which often falls into the realms of abstract and ethereal art.
The unpredictable nature of these mediums lends itself beautifully to my creative process, as each stroke and layer of color takes on a life of its own. Even when employing the same techniques, I am constantly met with different and mesmerizing results, imbuing each piece with unique and captivating beauty.
