Perez Marron. 1972. Mexico City, Mexico. Lives and works in Miami and Colorado. Perez Marron is an artist who uses the spiral as a powerful symbol to delve into themes of growth, transformation, rhythm, and evolution. Her mixed-media technique includes oil paint, powdered pigments, sand, and glass beads, resulting in dynamic spirals that reflect life's ever-changing essence. “The nature of the spiral is infinite. It never returns to the same place. It continually transforms. Just like you and me,” she explains. Perez Marron trained at the San Carlos Academy of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Casa Lamm, Arte Tamayo, Hellenic Cultural Institute of Mexico, and Sotheby's Art Institute in New York. As part of her artistic research on psychological and creative processes, she studied the link between Art and Therapy at the University of Florida, Yale University, and the Multinational Workshop.
